Privacy, in plain words.
What this website and the massrelay app collect, and why.
No tracking
This site sets no tracking cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
The waiting list
Joining stores your email, your name and the line you typed, and sends one email to confirm it. We use it only to tell you your place and when it is your turn. An entry you never confirm is deleted after 7 days, a waiting one after 365 days, and one that has joined after 30 days.
Moving up
A friend can send you a link. When someone confirms through it, you move up a few places. Nothing else changes hands: no money, no reward.
Delete it yourself
Your private page has a button that deletes your entry at once. Or write to [email protected].

The sections below cover the massrelay app: the meetings you bring, and the accounts you connect.
Google user data
massrelay’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect a Google account, we ask only for what the meeting features need, and you can say no to each:
- Your calendar events, read-only (calendar.events.readonly): to show your upcoming meetings so you can pick which ones get a record.
- Google Meet transcripts, read-only (meetings.space.readonly): to bring in the transcript Meet already made for a meeting you choose.
- The Drive files you pick (drive.file): to bring in a recording or notes you select. We cannot see any other file in your Drive.
We use this data only to provide the features you turn on. We never use it for advertising, never sell it, and never use it to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. People at massrelay do not read it, except with your permission, to investigate a security problem, or where the law requires it.
To revoke access, disconnect the account in the app, or remove massrelay at myaccount.google.com/permissions. How long we keep what you brought in is under Retention, below.
Microsoft and Zoom
The same rules apply to the Microsoft and Zoom accounts you connect. From Microsoft we read your calendar (Calendars.Read), your online meetings (OnlineMeetings.Read) and the transcripts Teams already made (OnlineMeetingTranscript.Read.All). From Zoom we read your meetings and the cloud recordings you choose. Nothing is used for advertising or to train AI models.
To revoke access, disconnect in the app, or remove massrelay from your Microsoft account at myapps.microsoft.com or from Zoom under Manage, Added apps, at marketplace.zoom.us.
Your meetings
Each person brings their own recording or notes. Nobody is quoted until they agree, and each person sees only the meetings they were part of. Anyone can withdraw their agreement; their words are then removed from the record.
Retention
An original recording is kept for 30 days by default, and you can choose to keep the transcript only. Transcripts, summaries and next steps follow your workspace’s retention setting. When you delete your account, we carry it out after 7 days, so you can change your mind; audit and billing records the law asks us to keep are kept, without your name.
